Eight.Message.scheduleToast

Displays a Toast Notification. Template used is based off of what is specified on the ToastOptions object passed in. Scheduling is also based off the options object. Does not accept an alternate parameter of type string. Returns a WinJS.Promise object where complete is fired immediately after the toast is scheduled and not after it is shown. There is currently no way to track when a toast is shown after it is scheduled.

Example

var opts = new Eight.Message.ToastOptions("text");
opts.scheduledTime = getThirtyMinutsFromNow();

Eight.Message.scheduleToast(opts)
    .done(function onComplete(e) {
        // ... handle toast completed ...
    },
    function onError(e) {
        // ... handle toast errored ...
    });
